" Cantigas do Camiño " is a collective work which gathers in every song a creative and complex search that is necessary to compose a work inspired and related to the Camiño de Santiago. This vision of the music that represents the pilgrimage is an inheritage of hundreds of years of musical tradition, but it is also a personal and contemporary offer. The participating artists constitute a magnificent representation of the Galician music; a music with personality and proper sound. The initiative has been possible thanks to the collaboration and the effort of the artists who have created every song especially for this album. […]
The groups that take part in the project are: Susana Seivane, Faltriqueira, Guadi Galego and Vaamonde, Muds and Rosemary, Uxía, Leilía, Luar na lubre, Sondeseu, Fuxan you ventos, Treixadura, Milladoiro, Bonovo, Emilio Rúa and Berrogüetto.
